Hi, I’m James (he/him).
I’m an LGBTQ+ wedding photographer in York, photographing queer weddings in Leeds, Manchester and across the North.
I’ve been a Yorkshire wedding photographer since 2010, so you’re in safe knowledgeable hands.
Love is Love Studio provides LGBTQ+ wedding photography for queer weddings that make you feel seen, and represent you as your true authentic selves.
LEEDS LGBTQ+ WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Love is Love Studio is a Leeds LGBTQ+ wedding photographer and videographer studio based in Yorkshire.
On 29th March 2014, the first legally recognised same sex marriages took place in the UK. On the 10th anniversary of that day, Love is Love Studio launched to provide a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ couples looking for wedding photography in Manchester, Leeds, York and across the North.
I am here, not only to represent queer weddings beautifully and authentically but to push the wedding industry to be more inclusive of queer representation.
Everyone deserves to be seen. Everyone deserves a safe space to celebrate their love. The LGBTQ+ community is full of beautiful diversity, and no matter what your love looks like, it will be celebrated here at Love is Love Studios. You do you, and I’ll do the rest.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am all too aware that queer weddings are under-represented in the wedding industry.
Wedding photography all too often focuses on heteronormative perspectives and expectations. I will portray you as the couple you are, not the couple that the industry or the camera expects you to be.
We’ll navigate your fears, and realise your dreams together.
